1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, date of birth, grade level, school name, GPA, interests, strengths, career goals, and academic data you enter (grades, activities, milestones). We also collect technical data such as IP address and browser user agent for security and audit purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to: (a) power AI-driven college preparation features including academic planning, growth tracking, smart alerts, and college matching; (b) personalize your experience; (c) maintain audit trails for consent compliance; (d) improve Platform functionality. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling beyond the scope of the Platform.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data with colleges, schools, or other institutions without your explicit consent. Data may be shared with infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel) strictly for Platform operation, under their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements.

4. Parental Consent

ArcLaunch requires users to be at least 14 years old. Users aged 14-17 require verifiable parental consent before using the Platform. We collect parent/guardian name and email to facilitate consent. Parents may: (a) review their child's data by contacting us; (b) request deletion of their child's data at any time; (c) revoke consent, which will result in account suspension. All consent actions are recorded with timestamps, IP addresses, and document versions for audit compliance.

5. Legal Acceptance Records

When you accept these Terms and Privacy Policy, we record: your user ID, the document versions accepted, timestamp, IP address, and browser user agent. This creates an auditable acceptance trail required for compliance.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed. Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes. Consent audit records are retained as required by applicable law.

7. Data Security

Your data is stored securely via Supabase (SOC 2 Type II compliant). We implement row-level security policies, encrypted connections, and access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Your Rights
